Our MGF Trophy had no suspension at all. Running over a used matchstick was enough to jar teeth out of their sockets! I fitted ‘coil in a can’ replacements for the hydrogas units and whilst it made the car usable, that was about all you could say. It was noisy and the damping was inadequate. Eventually the rear damper mountings cracked, so the FCCKit was the answer, as, being a coil-over set-up, it made the body damper mountings redundant. What a difference! The FCCKit has given the car proper, secure suspension. No more clonking and bouncing down the road! So far we have done 700 miles on the kit and I am very pleased with the way it feels. I have set it up to Mike’s recommendations and so far, have no reason to deviate from those settings but it is nice to know that the damping and ride height are easily adjusted. Just wish this kit had been available five years ago!

I have been experiencing a very harsh ride on my MGF Trophy 160 for a few years now, 3 years ago I had the units re-gassed with nitrogen and all seemed good for about a year, then the car started to require a regular pump up to restore the ride height and the ride became firmer and firmer until it was unpleasant to drive and ride in. It was so bad I had to find a solution or sell the car. I consulted the MGOC about options and was recommended the coil over kit produced by Mike, so I ordered a MK6 kit. it came and I fitted it myself. We are very pleased with the result the car is now a pleasure to drive again. I would recommend this kit as I now no longer have to sell our beloved car and we are enjoying using it again. Also Mike was always available to speak to on the phone if I had any problems - a great service. Thanks

Save a bit of weight, help air flow from radiator and must help subframe rigidity. Had Subframe out last year for a front end overhaul. If your going down this route we'll worth purchasing. Had trouble with one bolt out of line, 2 minutes with file, elongate hole a fraction all sorted. This is not a bad reflection on the part just original build quality of the subframe.

I have recently had my car virtually rebuilt by MG Obsession. Both subframes replaced to powder coated ones, all bushes replaced, brake lines enough to say everything that was required was replaced. At the same time one of Mike's S/S Manifold & Exhaust System along with his re-designed TF suspension system & big rear brake kit. Having well over 40 years of extensively modifying cars his attitude is second to none & the modifications have all worked with total success & my expectations have been well surpassed. I now believe to have almost a brand new car that drives better than ever & is a lot more responsive & the handling is almost to good to be true amazing results!! In my opinion money very well spent & an awful lot of Smiles Per Mile.
