MGTF Shock Absorber Top Lock Nuts.(2)
The top nuts can easily get damaged or seized and it's advisable to replace when you have removed them with new nuts. Some shocks are supplied with nylocs which are not adviseable for reuse. With these lock nuts they can be re-used .
Tighten one nut then tighten additional nut to lock them in place.i.e two per shock absorber
These are M10 x1.25 pitch which are different to a stock M10 metric nut. NOTE these are intended for the standard MGTF shock absorber and not suitable for other aftermarket shock absorbers such as Spax which use a different thread pitch.
We can supply the Spax nuts from stock M10x 1.0 pitch Nyloc if requested you will receive a set of 2 nyloc nuts for this application.i.e two shock absorbers order two for a set of 4 shocks.Please specify Spax for this part.
Two are used on each shock absorber and are sold in pairs i.e £0.50 for two. Order 4 pairs if you intend to remove all 4 shocks. Sold as a pair.
