MK9 will be available from approx end of May 2023 starting at kit number 401. I have changed the oilite bush to 1.25" long giving a total bearing length of 2.5" This increases the surface area on the pivot massively giving a longer life and better arm support. All kits are now supplied with the stainless steel pivots which are all hand honed individually for a perfect fit.

Paypal charge me around £60-128 for the privilege of using them as a payment option, which is a ridiculous amount of money which we do not factor into the price, do not use paypal!!.
Due to the £ dropping in value against other currencies, EU countries can save around 10% and approx 15% for Australia . Please check for yourself as these exchange rates can vary.
Please see my YouTube videos for fitting instructions.

This latest production run has a logo and I've increased the length of the bearings and it has a double lipped seal instead of the O ring seal, this makes it easier to assemble on the car and the seal helps with keeping dust/dirt out and oil in, see the effects of water and dirt ingress in the photo of the old and new pivot shaft.. All the MK7 versions can be upgraded if required should the bearings need replacing at any time. This would cost approx £20/arm for the parts.(2 bearings and 2 seals)
Pay by card or bank transfer only.
Shipping time is usually less than a week from order/payment,depending on work load!! This can extend to 4+ weeks depending on component availability and volume of orders. Patience is required. At Christmas some of my suppliers take a long break and are not back at work until 2nd-3rd January.!! This could add a considerable lead time if you have ordered in December . Bear in mind I am busier in the winter months due to people taking their cars off the road during this time and refurbishing them for the Spring.

This kit works the same as the FCCKit MK6/7/8 which replaces the hydrafaf but made in stainless steel. Please see the details for the MK6 kit. for all information.
Currently only Gaz shocks are used.
Due to the corrosion in certain countries and the increasing amount of salt used I have developed a full 303/304 grade stainless steel TIG welded kit. ISO quality controlled. The alternative is a zinc coated steel, which is slightly cheaper to manufacture but there is a more enviromental impact when using a zinc coating.
Built to last a lifetime. NOTE these can be painted black if required this will cost an additional  £60 plus vat and will add 1 week to the delivery as the parts have to be specially prepared and painted by an outside painting contractor.
The arms and turrets are made in stainless steel and the top shock mount in anodised aluminium. The fixings are also stainless steel eliminating corroded and seized parts.
The additional costs over the std steel items are around £150 and will give you a choice of a suspension that will always look good without any problems from corrosion.
The parts will still need to be hosed down to remove the corrosive elements of road salt but with the minimum amount of effort will look good for years to come.
If you are considering having your spheres re-gassed as an alternative, remember the FCCKit is the only suspension kit that replaces all the top arms/bearings, the knuckle joints, shock absorbers and also allows you to set the camber and have the height set to a sensible height (from 320-345 not the 368+ with the hydragas this causes instability at speed and incorrect camber setting) without it fluctuating due to ambient temperature or fluid/ nitrogen loss. In fact if you changed all these components with the stock parts it would cost you more than a FCCKit!! Plus you don't need any specialist equipment such as a vacuum pump and fluids and it can fitted with just a regular tool kit.
FOR COMPARISON: The CIAC kit with new knuckles and pivots/bearings (not the Chinese manufactured ones) will cost £1560 plus vat.(plus it's advisable to reinforce the rear shock mounts!) The re-gassed exchange hydragas ones with new shocks, new pivots/bearings, new knuckles and fluid will cost around £1400 plus vat  and you will need to invest in a hydragas pump and pay in addition £250 if your old units are kaput!! The FCCKit is £1296 plus vat and comes ready to fit and is fully adjustable DIY kit.So like for like components the FCCKit is cheaper!! BONUS point you can sell the old parts for over £200++!! Making this kit the best value for money!!

The new SS kit is a MK 8/9 version made on the same jigs as the MK7 and a slight change in the profile of the arms to enable fitting without any subframe clearance issues (see picture of the narrower arm) and some detail changes with a logo and an octagon shape in the centre brace. See photos. I try to make improvements with each production run however small. The kit will work exactly as all previous kits in adjustment and ride quality. Note after kit no 400 there will be a price increase due to material prices constantly increasing, estimated at £100 so buy now while you can still save some money, this is out my control even though I shop around for the best prices also we are getting fuel surcharges by the couriers UK is around 16-20% and overseas there can be as much as £80 per parcel £350 to Australia..so if you order we will try and get the best shipping costs and in some cases you may get a refund but the majority of international shipping there may be an additional charge.
I advise you to purchase the stainless steel top arm pivot kit ( now included 09/22) at the same time to ensure a perfect fit (each pivot is hand honed to each arm) instead of reusing old pivots that could be worn and rusty. See photos. The additional cost is £60 plus vat if ordered with the FCCKit which will save money if purchased at the same time and also save time when fitting the kit. Let's face it if you have never replaced the top arm assemblies, with some cars now approaching 26 years old, they will be past their service life and is a false economy not to swap them out. The new  kits come with outer seals,SS pivots, SS thrust washers ,SS retaining plate so will probably last for the next 25 years if oiled at each annual service, apart from the seals these parts are manufactured under our control in the UK and therefore fit correctly! WARNING some Chinese manufactured pivot kits are of the incorrect length and this leads to the arm locking up! There has to be at least 2 thousandths of an inch end float on the arm after torquing up.These are checked and assembled on all kits before shipping.
Remember this is the only MGF suspension kit that replaces all the old hydragas components and transmits the loads into the subframe not the weak body mounts. The coil in a can system recommends you change the knuckle joints which will add another £280 to the cost of this type of kit!! Plus you will have to reinforce the rear bodywork at the shock mounts add on some more ££££'s.By the time you have done all this you will have spent approx £1800+ !!  Check out their instructions when fitted on how to locate the squeaks and knocking!!
Note customer feedback with the CIAC kits..if you have a failed shock absorber spare parts are NOT available only a full kit!! With the FCCKit there is 2 year warranty with the shocks and they can be rebuilt by Gaz.!! Or you can buy a new unit from my stock.
All these issues are not a problem with a FCCKit!
Regassing a hydragas sphere is not an ideal method as it does not give any more long term reliability even though some retailers are claiming they are 'reconditioned' they are NOT in my opinion! It is not currently possible to split a sphere and recondition the membrane and the internal valves and remove all the rusted internal parts,(see photo of the internals) painting the external parts and welding a valve in is not reconditioning so don't be fooled,it's what's going off inside!
If you think the MGF was designed to have hydragas then read this extract from MG Enthusiast magazine interview with Gerry McGovern "

Recent, Feb 2020, MG Enthusiast interview with Gerry McGovern OBE chief designer at Jaguar LandRover, who was part of the original design team,  says 'The hydragas was frustrating from a design perspective because it created so much variance in the vehicle's ride height which meant you saw a lot of MG's with a 4x4 stance..in hindsight things that should have been done differently.. bigger budget and...not using hydragas suspension ..'
So there you have it from the horse's mouth so to speak..the car was fundamentally flawed from a suspension point of view and would have probably had a conventional coil over set up if the budget was available. The MGF was not 'designed' to have hydragas it got it by default! Cars that were 'designed' to have hydragas were the Allegro and the Metro as well as other Austin Rover cars of that bygone era of the '70's and it worked well for these cars but not a sportscar made in the '90's . Well, dreams can come true with the FCCKit!!
Check the last picture with the subframe braces fitted, these allow unimpeded access to the top arm pivots and a bonus is they allow the airflow out to the sides, I recommend this option to be purchased and fitted at the same time.

UPDATE  15/9/21 after a two year wait! We have had certification for NZ ,these use a modified MGTF top arm and slightly different (larger bore) lower bush in the shock absorber, these are made to order and are a similar price to the stock FCCKit..Please enquire about this special kit which will be made to order.
Please check your countries regulations about using a different suspension as this can vary considerably due to local regulations.

Best MGF Modification ever !
Thanks to Mike to do it for us and for his patience to help fitting correctly. Always available for advices or just to check, it's really appreciable in this world in this business. It is a best modification you can do it for your MGF. The car is completely transformed and suddenly recover a performance suspension (as it should be for sport car like Lotus at the time). Adjustable dampers allow to set it for road or track. Adjustable high riding between front an rear is also a liberation of hydragas system (and don't change). Adjustable camber is also a great as benefit. It requires a serious mechanic level to do it correctly with hours to spend with complete geometry resetting at the end, so don't hesitate to let a professional to do it if you are not able or if you don't have enough time. it's worth it undeniably instead of reconditioned spheres and rusty pipes !

Car now taxed and I’m running around in it, albeit with maximum negative camber. The ride is transformed, no other way to describe it, even on the worst of roads there is no more rattles and bumps, it just glides over. I would even suggest it’s as good as my Avensis saloon car I drive most other days. It makes the car quieter and more relaxing to drive. I remember the last time I drove with my spheres still in place it wasn’t pleasant, I dreaded every bump. I am fast forgetting what that was like. Thursday I’ll be getting the camber done and then it will handle properly as well.

My car is an MGF Trophy. I purchased it in 2008. After 4 years the rear displacer leaked, No replacements were available so I fitted 2 second hand standard spheres. Then I had the first suplex kit designed for the Trophy. This caused problems but it kept the car on the road,
In 2020 I bought the kit manufactured by yourself. It was fitted by the Bristol MG Workshop. We were all impressed with the quality and ease of fitting.
The difference was amazing. I have driven it for some 20.000 miles. It has been completely trouble free and transformed the car. The ride is more positive and supple and the handling superb. The only issue that has arisen is a broken spring on the front nearside. This is no surprise with the state of the roads around here. It's extremely common here for springs to be replaced, something that was unheard of a few years ago.
I would recommend this kit to any MGF owner. MH. 22/09/23

Pothole - FCC suspension
On a recent MG club run I hit Australia's deepest pothole with my left side wheel. The sort of hole you only want to hit once in your life, shook the whole car, rattled all the glass and triggered the fuel shutoff valve ( kill switch ). I have the FCC suspension kit fitted ( Mk 6 I think ) and I've done a thorough check and found no damage. If it can withstand an Aussie pothole at 65 miles an hour it can put up with anything!
