I have created this section to list some new developments and ideas for MG owners to pre-view and contribute any ideas.
Here are a few ideas..
1 Inboard suspension for the rear of the car. This will reduce unsprung weight . I have engineered a solution for the rear but still working on a front solution which is restricted by the brake servo assembly..maybe a remote brake servo would solve this.
2 Oil cooler similar to the now obsolete TF 160 arrangement.As a stand alone kit not with repacement parts for the 160 models as they are becoming where all the parts need replacing.The filter adapter is now made and in stock.
3 Hydragas lowering inserts instead of the lowering knuckles, this would standardise the knuckles to one size and have the option to lower by inserting a new socket into the hydragas unit as used on the MGF Trophy models now obsolete.
4 New tubular lower wishbone.MGF/TF or Billet ali :-)
5 Electric conversion. On the grounds that this will be a very expensive option it's not going to be a starter.
6 Subframe replacement.
7.Clutch lever bushes
8 Replacement header tank in aluminium with a 'proper' cap!
9. Cat convertor theft protection shield/aerodynamic aid.
10. Exhaust manifold for a Turbo correctly offset to avoid any bulkhead mods.
11.Larger brake disc and calipers to fit under stock 15" wheels.
12. MGF rear trailing track arm inner section with a replaceable bearing rather than the throw away item it currently is.
13. Hood anti-pinch bracket. This attaches to the hood pivot and pushes the hood away to prevent the fabric being pinched.Due to be available August 2022.
14.Front roll bar brackets in billet aluminium.Available end August 2022.
